The Senior Analytics Manager is a client-facing position dedicated to driving meaningful and actionable analysis on integrated advertising and CRM campaigns.
The Senior Analytics Manager position owns all analytical deliverables for assigned clients, including analytical components of the program planning phase, back-end reporting, testing frameworks and ongoing client learning plans. The role is a hands-on one, where the Manager both executes analytical work and supervises others in its production. The position mandates an individual who is adept at training and mentoring AnalystsSenior Analysts. Ideally, this position is staffed by a Super Analyst, an individual who is equally adept at performing and managing high level analytical work.
The Senior Analytics Manager is additionally tasked with assisting in the development of analytical thought leadership. The position is charged with advancing the competency through implementation of effective and efficient analytical frameworks, tools and processes.
Finally, the Senior Analytics Manager serves as an active partner with Strategic Planning, Media, and Account Management teammates, working to create customerbusiness insights that facilitate the development of relationship marketing strategy designed to positively impact our clients businesses.
Responsibilities
Develops and gains client approval on analytical plans to guarantee the delivery of deliverables that answer important client questions.
Manages scope creep on analytical deliverables by steering projects in accordance with analytical plans.
Analyzes campaign and customer data to provide conclusions, implications and actionable recommendations designed to improve the quality of future relationship marketing communications.
Develops close working relationship with assigned clients to provide strategic analysis, campaign and program recommendations, and thought leadership that is in alignment with the clients business goals and strategy.
Demonstrates strong proficiency in the utilization of analytical tools for advertising and direct marketing including segmentation and modeling, back-end response analysis, quantitative and qualitative primary research.
Develops and deploys detailed Test Measurement Plans designed to drive customer knowledge.
Provides integrated on-line and offline marketing analytical solutions to improve client decision-making.
Partners actively throughout projects with Strategic Planning and Account Management resources to ensure use of appropriate tracking metrics and methodology are in place to measure program and campaign performance.
Campaign Sr. Analysts and Analysts may report into the Senior Analytics Manager.
Requirements
BABS required, MBA or Masters in related position strongly preferred
5 yrs experience in analytics for direct marketing and advertising industry required, focusing on marketing campaign effectiveness reporting, analytics, and development of customer knowledge in a fast-paced client environment.
Experience working in softwaretechnology vertical preferred.
Proven ability of to lead analytic strategy with a diverse and demanding client.
Strong proficiency in the utilization of analytical techniques for the measurement of on-line advertising, CRM and web environments.
Active thought leader with a deep analytical heritage.
Excellent track record in the integration and use of customer data to develop conclusions, implications, and recommendations that shape future marketing decisions for high level clients
Ability in various analytic and measurement technologies, including an understanding of their respective competitive landscapes.
Strong methodological experience in development of on-line tests for evaluation of on-line media and creative.
Solid experience in use of post-exposure study methodology.
Exhibits ability to teach and mentor analytic staff.
Demonstrates ability to multi-task in a fast-paced data environment.
Possesses exceptional written and spoken communication abilities.
Motivated, self-starter.
